10 children to camp

I take my kids camping so they know the Big Dipper really exists. Camping bring them to hear the birdsong real cuckoos are not alone. But as soon as I leave, I realize I am not a professional entertainer, I need these camping "toys" to help me. All fit in the backpack for children.

First camping lantern

Children love lanterns. To walk into the bathroom, or find the perfect marshmallow stickeasy to get around the field after sunset. Go work with batteries, lanterns, gas lanterns are hot because they have a fire hazard, and safe to use in a tent.

According Flashlight or, better still, lights

Kids' flashlights come in bright colors and cheerful. Many cables have to lose or drop the flashlight. My advice: Get one for each child. They are not expensive, arguing, in general, less than $ 10 and you save a lot. If your budget allows, consider aHeadlights. It takes bold vision of cavers and Indiana Jones.

Third Bug Jar or Kit

Open your eyes and curiosity of a child for the creatures that surround him. Coleman himself has developed a high, cylindrical arch kit, fireflies to keep safe. At night fireflies turn into a lantern time. How magical is it?

Fourth Compass

Compass for children must be robust, with light spots. Show a child, like a compass with a map and use a learningSkills, the phone is not just for camping, but when he goes on a trip to Europe, or when walking the Himalayans. You can get a basic camping compass for $ 10 to $ 15

Fifth Star Finder

Observation of stars cooler than any video game. Thanks to film the orbital motion of the earth, the sky seems to be recognizing the most successful of the constellations, you should know that the stars are above the horizon at that time.

A rotating star finder helps childrenrecognize the constellations for a year. Just turn the knob to match the day of 'year. Get the star finder for your specific area of the world. For example, the seeker of stars in New York will not help you, Spain. If you're new stargazing, watching you read in a couple of sites on the web by googling "stars"

Sixth Bottles

I have the simple unbreakable Nalgene bottles for my children. But these days, you cankid-sized hydro schemes of 4-6 cups of water retention. It allows you to drink hands-free, which is useful if your hands are busy implementing cycling and walking sticks.

Seventh Binoculars

Binoculars are for camping, bird watching and nature study walks general practice. For children, ensure that the blinders are flexible and comfortable that you can put a rope around his neck, the child so he does not lose. You can pick up in the camping section of Target aor Walmart.

Whistle 8th (top)

This is a safety device should have a baby at any time in the desert. Find whistles are lightweight but very high. Make your children around their neck when he goes to explore safe, not stuffed down his backpack.

Ninth Sunglasses

Children are not affected by adults, perhaps under the look of fashion sunglasses. But they really need more because

1) you spend more timeoutdoors in full sun and

2) they are more vulnerable to solar radiation, because their eyes pigments protection 'are not fully developed.

For sunglasses for children, try polycarbonate lenses.'m Strong, durable and impact resistant. First of 98 percent or 100 percent protection against UVA and UVB rays.

There are glasses designed just for kids. They have reversible frames - upside-down, negative up no matter Builtadjustable straps and quick, flexible temples for comfort. My favorite place for children and infants is a technical equipment like this upsideover.com [] http://www.joyofcamping.com/uo/shop/D-14/Kids_technical_sunglasses.html.

10th Backpack

Finally, a backpack tote all these fun way. Do not you want to keep bugging you, "Daddy, where's my mom ..., where's my ..." Get a light fabric or nylon backpack with a simple zipper and a pocket or two. Stay away from this isheavy canvas with 12 pockets and backpacks, all kinds of straps and contraptions. Are too cumbersome for Junior adventurous campers.
