Healthy and tasty recipes - African rice slow cooked with Turkey - Shrimp and Mango Salad

African rice slow cooked with Turkey in a spicy tomato sauce

Serves 4

Ingredients:


Chicken soup
4-5 large tomatoes, chopped fresh
100g tomato paste
Madras Curry Paste
6-7 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ red onion, diced
4-5 skinless turkey breast
2 red chilies, thinly sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
4 cups of tea white basmati rice

- Add 6-7 tablespoons of olive oil heated in a pot. Place over medium heat.
-Cook the chopped onion and 6-7 cloves of garlic (chopped) until brown.
- Stir in tomato paste and 1-2 minutes
- In 3 teaspoons of curry paste and stir into the pot
- Cut the tomatoes and add. Stir for a minute
- All crumble in the chicken broth mixture and stir
- Add turkey breast cut into pieces and stir to mix Bitesize.
- Finely chop pepper, add and mix
- In 4 cups of rice and stirMixed
- Boil 1 ½ liters of water in a kettle. Pour into mixing bowl and dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes. Pour in the mix. Mix together thoroughly, cover and cook pot.
- In some 'little water until the rice is tender as required. It should take about 20 minutes.
- When cooked, remove from heat.
- Serve on a plate. Slice the onion and ½ red pepper, and sprinkle on rice. end of the season with black pepper.

Shrimp and MangoSalad

Serves 2

Ingredients:


1 package fresh mixed salad
1 red onion, sliced
1 ripe mango, peeled and cut into strips
1 clove garlic, crushed
12 shrimp

- Place two handfuls of mixed salad in a bowl of sweet
- Add the red onion and crushed garlic
- Squeeze the juice with mango as possible so that they wire over the salad
- Add two tablespoons of olive oil and fresh shrimp
-Mix and serve with a pinch of black pepper
