For many people, the recipes can be intimidating and confusing. However, the world of cookbooks and recipes has changed in the past month and has become increasingly user-friendly. Many cookbook recipes distributors have redesigned their purchase less popular are the ingredients that are easier and less expensive. The recipe has four ingredients in a largeexample of what can be done with only a few main ingredients.
Remember, food doesn't have to be complicated to be delicious!
Prosciutto Pillows with Salmon and Herb
You will need:
1. 1 large bunch each of cilantro, dill and basil
2. ¾ of a cup of extra virgin olive oil
3. 4 Salmon fillets
4. 8 Thin slices of prosciutto
Begin by pre-heating your oven to 350°C. Now, chop your herbs and add a pinch of coarsely ground salt. Mix herbs using a mortar and pestle and slowly add your extra virgin olive oil until the mixture becomes a thick and sticky paste.
Spread your herb mixture on the top of each of your salmon fillets. Be sure to portion your herb mixture evenly. Start by adding the bare minimum to each fillet and then adding small amounts until all of the fillets are covered.
Once your herb paste is spread evenly, carefully wrap each fillet in a couple of slices of prosciutto. If your prosciutto does not seem to stay on its own you can use a small tooth pick to secure it. However, the skewer will not look attractive once the dish is cooked and should be removed before serving.
Place all of your wrapped fillets on a large backing sheet and cook for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
Garnish using a small sprig from any of the herbs used and a drizzle of olive oil.
This dish is best served immediately and does cool quite quickly. If you want to ensure a warm meal use preheated plates.
