Quick and easy pea soup Arabic

I write simple recipes to show that you actually make good food with real ingredients, and often just as fast as the heating of a meal prepared in the microwave. This simple pea Yakhni is an example. Yakhni means stew served on rice. I used to think that regularly for my children when they are grown. E 'was simple and easy and much healthier than most ready meals. The special Arabic spices cinnamon and allspice make every delicious YakhniTaste. Dill goes well with the peas. Kids love this food, because the sweet taste of spices and vegetables cooked with the meat so that separated it all blends together well and tastes better than cooked vegetables relatively mild.

For this dish you need:

1 cup (240 ml) of rice

2 cups boiling water

Salt

Onion, chopped

Some fat or oil for cooking

2 carrots, finely chopped (Tip: Cut the slices, the works, and isfast)

½ kg minced meat

2 / 3 kg of peas (fresh or frozen shucked)

15 g of fresh dill, chopped into medium pieces

Salt, pepper, cinnamon, allspice and

A little 'water more

Serves 2. Just double the ingredients if for four. Some people prefer less rice and more tired. If so, adjust, just as you want. If you are a vegetarian and adapt this recipe for a meatless version, it is better to omit the allspice.

Heat the fat or oil, onion and stir until it begins to brown. Carrots and fry together for about a couple of minutes. Half the meat on high heat and stir-such as pepper, cinnamon, spices and add.
